This is a great example of what Dr. Shah calls a finesse rhinoplasty, a rhinoplasty designed around subtle refinement rather than dramatic change.
Finesse rhinoplasty does not necessarily require an open approach. In the right patient, a closed rhinoplasty can be used to make small, precise adjustments while preserving a very natural appearance.
Here, the changes are intentionally subtle. The nose is slightly deprojected, the bridge is smoother, and the tip is a little more defined and gently lifted. From the front, you can also see a touch more nostril show, which helps create a softer, more refined shape without making the nose look over-operated.
This is really the new age of rhinoplasty: using finesse techniques with an ultrasonic approach to make thoughtful, controlled changes that improve balance while still looking completely natural.
