A recent survey by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery showed a 12% increase of Hispanic women treated by a plastic surgeon than in the prior year. The most popular procedure requested was rhinoplasty (65%), followed by facelifts, and blepharoplasty.
The trend towards ethnic surgery in not a new phenomenom. More patients are seeking changes within the context of looking more attractive not trying to change their ethnic identity. The appeal of plastic surgery within the Hispanic community is not suprising as Latin beauty contestants, actresses and actors, and models are well represented on not just a local but international stage.

More importantly, Dr. Shah has tremendous experience treating patients from all races, including Hispanic.
