Peter Pan wanted to stay young forever, now you can too!
Many of us get the “Peter Pan syndrome” where we want to fly away to Neverland and never grow up. Well I’ve personally looked for that second star to the right and haven’t had any luck of finding it.
Even Michael Jackson was impressed by Peter Pan. In fact, so much that Michael asked Landmark if they could design a theme park- a real one, just like DisneyLand. Except his would be named “Peter Pan’s Neverland.” A lot of spectators out there even say that Michael went so far as to have his surgery replicate Peter Pan.
Michael’s not the only celebrity that has taken a liking to Peter Pan. He is the eternal Young One. But Sir Cliff Richard’s attempts to hold on to those boyish features have not been without a price. “Because of this Peter Pan of Pop title, I have had to live up to something that nobody actually can,” says Cliff himself. Sir Cliff, whose career has spanned an astonishing six decades, revealed he had started using Botox on his forehead three years ago after being introduced to it by his sisters. “I’ve tried this stuff called Botox,” he said.
The fact of life is that we’re all going to get our first wrinkle, hopefully later than sooner. But what if there were options available to you that could help you grow old gracefully? With cosmetic treatments consistently on the rise, it is no secret that more and more people are seeking out plastic surgeons to help them out with the “Peter Pan syndrome.” Statistics from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reveal that almost 85,000 people over 65 had cosmetic surgery last year alone.
Plastic surgery isn’t the only answer. For those of you who would rather stay away from the knife, there are injectables that go right into your skin for a quick and easy result of taking years of your age. These injectables, also known as soft tissue fillers, are amongst Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, Belotero, and many more. Results from these fillers will last you months so you’re longing for Peter Pan to whisk you away to Neverland can finally be put to rest!
