OPEN RHINOPLASTY

Open Rhinoplasty Female

Open rhinoplasty is one of the major advances in rhinoplasty.  It is important to determine which patients will receive an outstanding result from open rhinoplasty versus closed rhinoplasty.  Dr. Shah is able to perform both operations at a high level.

In female patients, open rhinoplasty is used to help maintain a better proportioned nose.  In this example the patient had an open rhinoplasty to help keep her nasal tip and profile in better position.  In addition, she had retraction of her nostril in which open rhinoplasty is helpful.  Her overall goal was a nose which was less prominent and worked with her facial features better.
