One of the latest advances with facial fillers has been the use of microcannulas. Microcannulas are essentially soft, flexible needles without the sharp tip. One of the major advantages of microcannulas are less trauma to the blood vessels in the skin, making bruising even less likely. Dr. Shah uses microcannulas in specific circumstances and areas to help decrease risk of bruising.
