Facelift tape

As we age, many patients feel that their exterior lines and sagging of their face does not reflect how their inner youth and vitality.  As a result, some patients seek minimally invasive alternatives to surgery.  Some patients describe taping their faces back daily to help give the appearance of a more youthful look.  Unfortunately, their are consequences of daily taping.  First of all, taping can lead to irritation on the skin from the glue material.  In addition, face taping severely limits the variety of hairstyles one can wear hair.  Additionally, while scars from a facelift can be very difficult to see when designed and performed by a qualified surgeon, it is quite embarassing to explain to peers why one is taping their face back.  With the acceptance of plastic surgery, it is more and more acceptable to have a facelift than it is to walk around with tape on one's face.  In addition, with some lifts, many of the drawbacks of traditional facelifts are limited, significantly limiting recovery and downtime.  From a cost standpoint, it may actually be less expensive to have a facelift with a payment plan than to use facial tape daily, considering factors such as time to apply tape, cost of tape, etc.
