A Caudal Extension Graft is a versatile graft used in rhinoplasty. It serves as a fixed graft to the nasal septum and effectively adds size to a septum. It can be used in cases of deviation of the nose as well as in cases which require adjustment in length, projection, size and can be placed both endonasally as well as from an external approach.The caudal extension graft can be fashioned out of septal, auricular, or costal cartilage.  The caudal extension graft can help with position the nasal tip and lock it into position.
